One of the reasons this book is so good, is that Peter goes into great detail outlining how to make great maples from ordinary stock. There is in depth how to pics on trunk development and trunk chopping. He even outlines the ETA of when to expect the finished project and what the trunks should look like following his keen advice. The trees in the book are top notch as well, and his choice of pots are exquisite.
Just the tree on the cover counts for about 10.00 in my opinion.
Try to find this book, if you like maples you won't be dissapointed.
