Great daring move!

Unfortunately I couldn't make the chat time, but after sifting through much of it (great idea to post it all Matt!) I think I would have agreed with Al. Roots as they are now definitely scream upright. The piece has some good potential but needed taper.

Excellent exercise in developing potensai - sure you've "set it back" but now instead of having a ho-hum tree in a pot it will be a dramatic bonsai!
