I believe this is what it is - Fern of the Desert (Lysiloma thornberi). I don't think it is mimosa (the leave just don't look the same, and the flowers look more like what is being shown for Lysiloma).

So, for you Lysiloma-owners, do you keep it in a sunny spot? On the dry or moist side?

I found this pic on the internet - looks a bit like mine. Except for my knobby trunk. Anyone else's have all those 'warts' on it? That normal?
