This spiral jinned tree is famous for it's well, spiral jin. It has appeared in many bonsai publications. The jin supposedly suggests a dragon rising to the heavens (at least that's the explanation I've seen a couple of times). This is but one of the "famous" trees in Japan.

Oh, by the way, you planning on getting permission to use some of these photos? It may be necessary
