Hi Revolt, Welcome to the world of miniature. The window sill would have to be outside i would suggest you grow juniper, pine , trees that are hardy to withstand Scottish weather. In which part of Scotland do you live? We came from Fife 23 years ago. Get involved with a bonsai club and stay with this great forum where you will find a wealth of info.
