That site doesn't give much info as far as particle size or how much you get you get for the money. Expanded shale is the same as Haydite. It's used in making concrete blocks and can be used as a conponent in bonsai soil. Look around at places that make paving stones or landscaping places and try to find your soil ingredients local. Shipping is really costly for something like this.
