Very nice. I was there last year in September. I saw a couple I wanted - but as you said, they only take the trees out twice per year.
Relatively close is the new location for Lodder Bonsai bv - in Harmelen, near Utrecht. Absolutely worth a visit. It must be the largest bonsai nursery in Europe. It's HUGE. Apparantly on Saturdays there are touring busses of foreign Bonsai-tourists from France, Italy Germany and UK. They buy pallet-loads of trees... :-)
Starter material - like small Chinese Elm are a bargain at €4 ($5) each. Good sized acer are €80 ($100). Loads of beautiful specimen trees.
