Brooklyn Botanical Gardens
I went to New York City (6/17 - 6/20) as a Birthday present from my parents. My step dad used to live there so he still knows where everything is. I was looking in a magazine on what to do in the city (tourist magazine) and saw the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens article. What a wonderful place this is. Trees EVERYWHERE; including a bonsai section in a large greenhouse. - [They also have a shop with many books, and other bonsai related items, I picked up Colin Lewis' "The Art of Bonsai Design."]
-MORE-
I took some pictures of everything (around 50 pictures total.) But here's the pictures of some of the bonsai I took. I wish I took more pictures of the bonsai now, but then I was so happy to see trees like these in person and forgot about my camera at times. I might post up some more pictures of the landscape of 'real life trees' if anyone would like it.
Enjoy with the bonsai for now!
