I feel sorry for you. I have to pay bills and pay taxes - and no, I'm not rich - but my life does NOT revolve around that. My career is a means to a life, and money is required to have that. Therein lies the end of that. It will not be reversed in priority. I'm not "deluded" in thought or what life is, and no matter what you may think, I will remain optimistic about it. Life can be tough at times, but it's better than the alternative.
I'm glad you find an "escape" in bonsai though.

I always forget how poorly my sarcastic wit translates through plain text.
The little smiley thingy ;P (semi-colon P) is a wink which implies a joke or attempt at wit, the P is a raspberry, (tongue stuck out) which implies just that.
Methinks you took my post a bit too seriously. Please don't feel sorry for me, there are others in far greater need.
If you could however muster up a pessimistic view of the state of things, what would it be? I find these views often allow you to get to know a person better.
As for your list, and in all seriousness,
1. God - wish I was able to believe, I'm sure "Faith" that things will get better makes life easier. (I personally put God and religion up there with "the world is flat", everyone used to believe that too). That being said, I fully subscribe to the "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." 2. Family - that's my #1. So we're not far off.
3. Country - You're in the U.S., I'm in Canada. I'm completely disgusted with direction both countries are headed. I don't feel represented by my representatives. I feel paying taxes is a bad thing to do anymore. Would I defend our borders from an invading force? ABSOLUTELY! I am curious what positives you see in the direction your country is headed. How do you feel about extraordinary rendition? (they boil people in Syria)
4. Me. - I feel it should be above country and I believe so did your founding fathers. This is where I'm at (But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security)
5. Everything else...sure why not? It's not like I have a lot of free time to fill.
So here's my list.
0. Do unto others...
1. Family
2. Me
3. Country
4. Everything else
