Let me start out by saying that these displays are better than anything I have done to date. I have been seriously studying displays to prepare myself for some more formal showings. I appreciate your posting such in order for everyone to learn from it.

I do have a couple comments that maybe you could help me out with...

First, I have noticed a trend in scrolls lately where they are very hard to find anymore in plain basic white, off white, or tan. Instead they all seem to be the paisley like printed scrolls such as you have shown here. These bother my untrained eye to no end, I find them quite distracting, drawing the eye from the picture. Is this only me?

Second, non-distracting backgrounds are hard to come by as I am sure you know. The vertical lines (seams) in the background again draw the eye to them. Would a bamboo screen help or hinder this? Is this a common problem at shows?

Third, the tablecloth (plastic?) or tarp that is covering the tables I think would be much better in a neutral tone instead of blue. Not only does the color take from the whole, but the creases and wrinkles draw the eye also. Would a freshly ironed cloth spread be better? Again, is this a common problem at shows?
