Jose, I agree. This tree needs more taper, more trunk thickness and less height. I would probably chop the trunk to that first branch on the right and wire that up for a new leader. Don't do it now though. Wait til it gets over the bug problem and is putting out new healthy leaves. You need to lengthen your time horizons. It's not uncommon to spend several years to turn nursery stock like this into a bonsai.
