Hi all -

Any opinions on defoliating Japanese Maples two summers in a row? They are very healthy, and the leaf size is good - but I find it difficult to resist the opportunity to refresh those greening leaves. I have read that this is not a technique to use two seasons in a row, but I was curious about other's experience out there.
