Cypress Knees
We have lots of Cypress trees here that grow in the swamps and along the bayous. They have whats called Cypress Knees growing from the roots. Its actually part of the root of a tree that grows up around 2 to 3 feet above the water level. I dont know why they do this. My question is Is it possable to have cypress knees on a bonsai cypress? I've been looking at pictures and saw a few cypress bonsais but no knees.
